Is Canon Rebel Xti good enough for model shoots?

Laser jet printer and laser shot printer?
Their is not much of a difference in the two, canon makes a laser shot, they say the laser shot is less trouble and almost maintenance free ? I don't know because I use a 20 year old hp laser jet series II, it was made by canon and has the sx engine....
